Pemphero Childrenīs Foundation organisation consist of ten trustee members, management board and village volunteers.
We work hand in hand with the chiefs, community members and committees, guardians and government authorities.
Our strength is huge group of people, men and women, various aged willing to voluntarily work for the benefit of children
and to develop the community.
Pemphero Childrenīs Foundation is a community based organisation founded in July 2003.
Pemphero operates in the area covering eighteen villages under two-group village Headmen Chapola and Namalaka.
The area is to the North East of Sub-Traditional Authority Namabvi in Mangochi District Malawi.
The remarkable physical features are grassland with scattered trees and shrubs
that stretches from the foot of the mountain to the Lake Malawi. Pempheroīs office is based in village Foo.
Pempheros impact area has over 12.000 people. Our mission is to increase and strengthen HIV/AIDS awareness
and support and care for people living with HIV/AIDS, their families and orphans.
In year 2007 we had over 1.600registered orphans. Organisation is registered with government of Malawi under Ministry of Gender
and Community Services department at Mangochi Social Welfare Office.
We want to thank our friends from Malawi, Finland, USA and UK. Save the Children, NAC, Malawi Children Village
and OSA Malawi have supported us greatly in many ways and we are very grateful! With all given support we have faith
